Complete Interior Restoration and Epoxy Flooring Project for Motiv
Industrial Services of West Michigan is currently completing a full interior restoration project for Motiv, bringing new life, durability, and branding consistency to their facility. This comprehensive upgrade includes infrastructure removal, surface restoration, high-performance coatings, and epoxy flooring designed to perform in an active commercial and industrial environment.
The project began with removing retired and unused infrastructure to clean up the interior space and improve both function and appearance. Once the existing elements were cleared, metal surfaces throughout the facility were primed with a rust-inhibitive primer to protect against corrosion and extend the life of the building components. Walls received a stain-blocking primer to seal in existing marks and discoloration, creating a uniform base for the finish coats.

All surfaces are being topcoated with a high-performance waterborne enamel, chosen for its durability, cleanability, and low-odor characteristics—an ideal solution for active facilities. This coating system helps resist scuffs, stains, and daily wear while maintaining a crisp, professional appearance over time.
Flooring is a major highlight of this restoration. The team is grinding existing concrete substrates and installing epoxy floors engineered for long-term performance. In the office spaces, decorative flake systems are being applied to add visual interest, hide minor imperfections, and provide a slip-resistant, easy-to-maintain surface. These epoxy floors tie in both function and design, supporting daily operations while elevating the overall look of the space.
To complete the transformation, the interior features a coordinated three-tone color scheme. Ceilings and upper walls are finished in white to keep the space bright and open. The lower walls are painted with a Pantone-matched gray that adds contrast and hides wear in high-contact areas. Motiv’s signature orange appears as a bold dividing stripe between the two and replaces all previous safety yellow, reinforcing brand identity while still supporting visual safety cues.
